Soft Centreby KirstenAfter much agonising over the theme, I handpainted this piece of velvet and reverse appliqued it to the background. To make the rumples truly rumple, I used embroidery floss and a large, uneven stitch. The small heart is a reference to my current obsession with tags and labels and also a reminder that the quilt is a love-note to Soft Centres from Me. For more details, see my blogpost. |
